When and how can I return a product?

You have the right to terminate your contract with DANO within 14 days, without giving any reason (right of withdrawal). Before you send the product back to us, please send an email to stating that you wish to return the product. You will receive a confirmation from us on your notification to return the product. Although you are not required to provide a reason for the return, we would like to hear why a product is being returned. This helps us to further improve our products and services.

The 14-day cooling-off period starts when you receive the products from your order. You then have 14 days to return the product to us. Only the direct costs for the return shipment will be for your account. You do not have to pay these costs yourself when the product contains foreign objects, the product is spoiled, the wrong product has been delivered, there is serious damage to the product upon delivery and when the product has passed the date.

We ask you to handle the product and its packaging with care during the period of reflection. The product may only be unpacked or used to the extent necessary to determine the nature, features and operation of the product. The starting point here is that you may use and inspect the product as you would in a physical store.

The amount paid by you for the returned product, including shipping costs, will be refunded as soon as possible. This will be done no later than 14 days after the dissolution of the agreement and in the same way as the product was paid for when ordered, unless otherwise specified. If a more expensive method of delivery than the least expensive standard delivery was chosen for the return shipment, DANO does not have to reimburse the additional costs for the more expensive method.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that spoil or age quickly or to products that are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and whose seal was broken after delivery.

If you make use of the right of withdrawal, all additional agreements will be dissolved by operation of law.

Complaints are answered within three working days of receipt. If a complaint requires a longer processing time, you will receive a message from us with an indication of the period within which you can expect a more detailed answer. If after four weeks your complaint is still not resolved, a dispute arises which may only be submitted to the competent court in the district where DANO is located.

All agreements between you and DANO, as well as any disputes arising from them, are governed by Dutch law only.
